Welcome to Raccoon Rescue of the Valleys

Raccoon Rescue of the Valleys is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of native Virginia wildlife.

For inquiries about injured, orphaned or nuisance raccoons, please contact RRV by calling (540)-206-9404.

For non-emergency issues or questions you may email tina_trudeaurrv_roanoke@yahoo.com.

Please note that it is illegal to trap and relocate wildlife in Virginia, including raccoons! View the VDGIF website for information on how to handle nuisance and problem wildlife.

Led by two licensed level II rehabilitators, Zelia Broyles and Tina Trudeau, Raccoon Rescue of the Valleys strives to assist and save wildlife in need of help. RRV is located in the Roanoke, VA area, specializing in rehabilitating injured or orphaned raccoons and other Virginia wildlife, and is devoted to maintaining humane and professional levels of care.

Beginning in 2018 Raccoon Rescue of the Valleys will only accept injured and sick adult raccoons. We will no longer be able to accept orphaned babies. Starting in 2018 you will need to contact Roanoke Wildlife Rescue or Southwest Virginia Wildlife Center for assistance with orphaned raccoons in the Roanoke area. *
